Kim Shattell joins the Chaverah family to support its mission of helping women live the life God designed for them. Kim resides in Syracuse, New York with her husband Jeff and is Mom to their three amazing children – Bailey, Tessa and Jeremy. Kim and her husband are ordained ministers and currently lead, serve and minister in various churches and ministries in the Syracuse area. Kim is a Bible Teacher bringing knowledge and understanding of the truth of the Word of God and how to apply it. She brings her message of truth and freedom to various churches and ministries, as well as ministry school, a Life Group (lead by her and her husband), and leadership of two powerful prayer ministries.
In her professional career, with a background in publishing and events, she re-digs the wells of her experience and education to jump into the blossoming ministry of Chaverah Magazine. Kim holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism. Her professional experience includes positions with magazines and publishing companies in Writing, Editing, Marketing/Advertising, Conference/Exhibition and Events Planning, and Management. She is so excited to be working with Chaverah Magazine in various capacities to encourage women everywhere to receive the best that God has for them, and to share the life of grace, love and promise the Lord has for all of us.
Kim enjoys reading, cooking and baking, entertaining, projects around the house and spending time with friends and family. And, oh yes, coffee! She also loves spending precious time with the Lord in worship and in the Word to receive strength, peace and grace daily. Kim desires to see the body of Christ, and in particular women, understand who they are in Christ and walk out their destiny in the Kingdom. She has a heart for women to truly know who God is, to know His unconditional love, and to know who He says they are in order to be free to fulfill their Kingdom purpose on the earth. She prays that all women would “ …have power, together with all the Saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God,”
